Q: How much does it cost to eat at Relæ?
A: We have two menus – a vegetarian and a non-vegetarian. Both menus consist of four servings and cost DKK 375. Besides you can buy our wine pairing for DKK 375 or you can take a look at our wine menu.
Q: When are you open?
A: The restaurant is open Wednesday-Saturday from 5.30 pm to midnight. We do two seatings. 5.30, 6.00, 6.30 or 8.30, 9.00, 9.30. Changes in the opening hours may occur and will be announced at our website.
Q: How long time do I have the table?
A: The table is yours for two and a half hours – which is plenty of time.
Q: How far in advance can I make reservations?
A: We open for reservations 60 days in advance.
Q: How many people can I make reservations for?
A: We take reservations for up to 10 people. Parties of 8 or more people are asked to pre-order the menu.
Q: Can I make a reservation for 1 person?
A: Yes, you are welcome to come alone. In order to give you the best experience possible we will seat you in the bar – close to the kitchen!
Q: Are children welcome in the restaurant?
A: Everybody is welcome. However, everybody who takes up a seat has to order at least 4 courses. We do not make smaller portions, we do not have à la carte and we do not create special dishes for children. Relæ is a small restaurant, and the tables stand very close, which unfortunately makes it impossible to bring children not included in the reservation.
Q: What should I do, if I wish to change the size of my reservation?
A: Changes must be made no later than 24 hours prior to your reservation. In case of illness or unforeseen challenges changes can be made until 5.30 on the day of your reservation by calling the restaurant at (+45) 3696 6609. We will do our very best to fulfill your wishes, but we cannot guarantee your reservation.
Q: Can I stop by without having a reservation?
A: Yes. We recommend that you make a reservation, but we will do our best to help you, if you stop by.
Q: How do I cancel my reservation?
A: Cancellations must be made via e-mail (firstname.lastname@example.org) before 4.00 pm on the day of your reservation. You can also delete your reservation at our website by using the IQ-code that you received with your confirmation.
Q: What if I come to early to my reservation?
A: If your table is not ready when you arrive, we will ask you to wait in the bar at Manfreds at the other side of the street.
Q: Is it possible to get à la carte?
A: No, we only offer two menus – a vegetarian and a non-vegetarian. However, it is possible to mix the dishes from the menus.
Q: Can you get more than four courses?
A: After 8.00 pm you are allowed to combine the two menus and thereby extent the number of courses.
Q: What do I do if I have some sort of allergy?
A: We do our very best to look after any allergies, therefore it will be a great help, if you tell us about your allergies when you make the reservation (i.e. in the comment box).
Q: I am a vegetarian. Can I still have dinner at Relæ?
A: Yes we have a vegetarian menu. However, we do not have a vegan alternative, as we believe it is to limiting for us to create the food we wish to.
Q: How often does the menu change?
A: We continuously change the dishes, hence, there are always new dishes coming up, depending on the season and availability, as our kitchen is primarily based on vegetables.
Q: Is Relæ certified organic?
A: Relæ has not applied for the Danish Ø (organic) certification. However, most of our ingredients are organic – and many are biodynamic.
Q: Is Relæ Nordic?
A: No, Relæ is not a Nordic restaurant. We like to consider our restaurant as a modern, natural kitchen with a distinct focus on vegetables.
Q: What kind of wine do you serve at Relæ?
A: We focus on natural wine from small producers. Generally speaking, we serve light, unfiltered, unmanipulated wines we love to drink and that compliments the food. Nothing else.
Q: Can you buy wine to take home?
A: Yes, in our shop at Manfreds across the street (Tuesday-Sunday 12.00-00.00).
Q: Do you have an alternative to wine?
A: Yes, we have juice menu and a number of selected juices.
Q: How about water?
A: We have a filtering system and offer water ad libitum (sparkling or still) for DKK 35.
Q: Can I take photos in the restaurant?
A: Yes, you are allowed to take photos. However, we ask you to consider the other guests in the restaurant.
Q: Am I allowed to use my phone in the restaurant?
A: We kindly ask people to step outside if they wish to talk on their phone. We do this in order not to disturb the other guests.
Q: Am I allowed to breastfeed in the restaurant?
A: Babies are welcome in the restaurant but we kindly ask for breastfeeding and changing to be done in the toilet.
Q: Can I buy gift cards?
A: Yes, you can buy gift cards in the restaurant from 12.00-24.00 wednesday to saturday
